How to connect your toy to Lethal Company

Lethal Vibrations is a BepInEx mod for Lethal Company that triggers toy responses on damage, enemy proximity, and other events. Setup with ToyControl.

Lethal Company is a co-op horror game where you scavenge an alien moon. The community plugin Lethal Vibrations maps the game's stress moments to toy responses: taking damage, hearing enemies, getting jumped. It is exactly as appropriate as it sounds.

Lethal Vibrations uses Buttplug.io. ToyControl connects directly through the Intiface bridge.

Tuning the feel

Lethal Company is stressful by design. The toy reactions add to the tension. Start at Multiplier 0.5x in ToyControl's bottom bar; raise or lower based on whether you want the toy to lean into the stress or stay calm.

Multiplayer

Lethal Company is a co-op game. By default each player's mod fires events based on their own state. Some Lethal Vibrations versions let you fire on teammate events too (e.g., a teammate's death triggers your toy). Check the config.

Troubleshooting

Mod not loading

Connected but no response

Toy fires constantly even when nothing is happening

Check the enemy-proximity setting in the config. If proximity is too sensitive, even distant enemies trigger. Lower it.

Privacy

Local only. The mod runs on your computer, ToyControl runs on your computer, the game runs on your computer.
