How to connect your toy to Minecraft (ButtplugMC, Minegasm, mInetiface)
Three Minecraft toy mods for different mod loaders. Server plugin for vanilla, Forge mod, and Fabric mod. Pick the one that fits your setup.
Minecraft's modding community is enormous and has produced three different toy mods, one for each major mod loader. ButtplugMC runs as a server plugin (Bukkit/Spigot/Paper). Minegasm is a Forge mod. mInetiface is a Fabric mod.
Pick the one that matches your Minecraft setup. All three use Buttplug.io and connect to ToyControl through the Intiface bridge.
The three options

If you do not know which mod loader you have, you probably play vanilla Minecraft. In that case use mInetiface for solo play, or ButtplugMC if you run a server.
What you need
- Minecraft (Java Edition).
- The mod loader for your chosen toy mod.
- The toy mod itself.
- A toy paired with ToyControl in your browser.
- The ToyControl helper app running.
- The Intiface bridge turned on in ToyControl's Game Link tab. Quit Intiface Central first if you have it installed; the two cannot share the port.
Path A: mInetiface (Fabric, simplest for solo)
Install Fabric
- Download Fabric loader from fabricmc.net.
- Run the installer; pick your Minecraft version.
Install mInetiface
- Download mInetiface from its GitHub releases (search "mInetiface" on the Awesome Intiface list).
- Drop the
.jarinto.minecraft/mods/. - Also install Fabric API (a dependency).
Configure
Launch Minecraft (Fabric profile). The mod generates a config in .minecraft/config/. Set the Buttplug server URL to ToyControl's Intiface bridge URL (visible in ToyControl's Game Link tab).
Play
Damage taken, mob kills, mining, and other events trigger toy responses. The exact mapping depends on the mod's current version.
Path B: Minegasm (Forge)
Install Forge
- Download Forge from files.minecraftforge.net.
- Pick the version matching your Minecraft.
Install Minegasm
Drop the Minegasm .jar into .minecraft/mods/.
Configure
Same idea as Fabric: edit the config and point at ToyControl's Buttplug URL.
Path C: ButtplugMC (Bukkit / Spigot / Paper server)
This one is for multiplayer servers. It runs on the server side and triggers events for all players whose accounts are linked.
Install on the server
- Install Spigot or Paper on your server.
- Drop ButtplugMC into the
plugins/folder. - Restart the server.
Per-player config
Each player who wants their toy controlled runs ToyControl with the helper app on their own computer. The server plugin connects to each player's Buttplug endpoint over a configured URL.
This is more complex than the single-player options. Use Discord or Spigot forums for setup help.
Tuning the feel
Minecraft events are dense (mining hits, combat damage, etc.). Start with Multiplier at 0.5x in ToyControl's bottom bar.
Troubleshooting
Mod does not load
- Confirm the mod's version matches your Minecraft version. Forge and Fabric mods are very version-specific.
- Check the Minecraft logs (
.minecraft/logs/latest.log) for error messages.
Connected but no toy response
- Confirm ToyControl is running with the helper app.
- Verify the Buttplug URL in the mod config.
- Click Test toy in ToyControl.
Multiplayer-specific issues (ButtplugMC)
- Make sure the server's network can reach each player's ToyControl (if you are not on a LAN). This may require port forwarding.
- Some players may have firewall settings that block the connection.
Privacy
Single-player mods (mInetiface, Minegasm): local only.
Server plugin (ButtplugMC): the server can read which events fired and when, but it does not see your toy or your ToyControl session. The toy is paired with your own browser.
