How to connect your toy to Wild Life

Wild Life has a built-in Lovense menu. Point it at ToyControl Game Link and any supported toy follows the in-game action.

Wild Life is a popular adult RPG with built-in Lovense support. The game has a Lovense menu in its options that scans for a Lovense Connect endpoint on your network. ToyControl's Game Link runs the same kind of endpoint, so Wild Life connects without knowing the difference. Any toy you have paired with ToyControl works, not just Lovense.

Setup is a few clicks in the game's options.

What you need

A toy paired with ToyControl in your browser.
The ToyControl helper app running on your computer.
Wild Life installed.

Step 1: Get the connection target

Open ToyControl at toycontrol.app.
Pair your toy (green dot in the sidebar).
Click Game Link in the sidebar.
Copy the IP and port shown.

Step 2: Point Wild Life at ToyControl

Launch Wild Life.
Open the options menu (main menu or in-game on-map menu).
Find the Lovense toys section.
Set Connection to Desktop.
Tap Lovense IP and enter the IP from ToyControl.
Tap Lovense Port and enter the port from ToyControl.

Wild Life saves these settings between sessions, so you only do this once.

Step 3: Test the connection

In Wild Life's Lovense menu, there is a Test toy function. Tap it; your toy should briefly activate.

If it does, you are connected. If not, see troubleshooting below.

A note on Lovense Power

Wild Life's Lovense menu has a Lovense Power slider. This overrides ToyControl's settings.

If Wild Life's Lovense Power is at 100% and ToyControl's Multiplier is at 0.5x, the in-game commands come out at 100% strength.
If you want ToyControl to control the strength, set Wild Life's Lovense Power to 100% and adjust the Multiplier in ToyControl's bottom bar.
If you want to cap from Wild Life's side, lower its Lovense Power and ToyControl will receive scaled commands.

Most users keep Wild Life at 100% and tune from ToyControl, so the same setup works across all games.

Tuning the feel

Standard ToyControl controls apply:

Multiplier in the bottom bar (set Wild Life's Lovense Power to 100% first).
Speed range for floor and ceiling.
Per-device intensity for each toy individually.

If Wild Life feels too gentle, try Multiplier 1.3x. If too intense, try 0.7x.

Mobile connection (alternate path)

Wild Life also supports connecting via the Lovense Remote app on your phone. If you prefer that path, the in-game help walks you through it. For ToyControl, stick to the Desktop path; it goes straight to ToyControl's Game Link without involving a phone.

Troubleshooting

Wild Life cannot find the toy

Confirm the ToyControl helper app is running. Visit http://localhost:8765/healthz; you should see ok.
Make sure your computer is on the same Wi-Fi as ToyControl (if you have multiple network adapters).
Re-enter the IP and port. Copy and paste; do not retype.

Connected but the toy is silent

Click Test toy in ToyControl. If it works, the issue is Wild Life's signal not reaching the toy. Check Wild Life's Lovense Power slider is not at zero.
Check ToyControl's per-device intensity slider.

Disconnects mid-session

Check your toy's battery.
Move closer to the computer if your toy is Bluetooth.
See My toy keeps disconnecting.

Privacy

The connection is local. Wild Life finds ToyControl on your home Wi-Fi. No cloud is involved. Wild Life cannot see what other toys you have paired or what other games you have played.
