Where to find scripts for funscript players

A longer look at where to download funscripts, what to pay for, what to avoid, and how to spot a good script before you load it.

If you have a toy and a scene you want to play with it, the missing piece is the script. A script is a small file that times the toy to the video. Without one, the toy still works but it does not follow the action. With one, the toy moves with what is on screen.

This article is a deeper look at where to get scripts, what is free, what is worth paying for, and how to pick a good one when you have options.

The four sources

Most scripts come from one of four places:

1. eroscripts.com (community).
2. SLR Interactive (paid, VR-focused).
3. Pornhub Interactive (mixed free and paid).
4. Independent creators on Patreon (paid, ongoing).

eroscripts.com

The biggest community for funscripts. A forum where scripters post their work, users download and rate, and discussions thread around quality.

What you get:

• A massive library, several thousand scripts.
• Most scripts are free or pay-what-you-want.
• Quality ratings (the community marks scripts good or bad).
• Reviews and notes from users who actually played them.
• Many scenes have multiple script versions, so you can pick the one users prefer.

How to use it:

1. Make a free account on eroscripts.com.
2. Search for the scene name, the performer, or the source video.
3. Pick a script that has good ratings.
4. Download the .funscript file.

eroscripts is the first place most users go.

SLR Interactive

SexLikeReal (sexlikereal.com) is a VR adult content service. Their Interactive category bundles professionally made scripts with their scenes. You buy a scene; the script is part of it.

What you get:

• High production quality.
• Designed specifically for VR scenes.
• Optimised for HereSphere and similar VR players.
• Subscription model: a monthly fee for the SLR library, or scene-by-scene purchases.

When to use SLR:

• You want VR scenes with reliable interactive support.
• You prefer paying for quality over hunting through community scripts.
• You watch a lot of VR content already.

The downside: SLR's scripts are tied to SLR's scenes. They are not a general library.

Pornhub Interactive

Pornhub has an Interactive section with scripts bundled to scenes. Quality varies more than SLR's. Some scenes are free; some require Premium.

When to use:

• You already watch on Pornhub.
• You want occasional free interactive scenes.

Less curated than the other options. Useful as a third source.

Independent creators on Patreon

Many talented scripters release new work each month on Patreon or similar membership platforms. If you find a scripter whose style you like, supporting them on Patreon gets you regular new content.

Common scripter styles:

• Soft scripts that emphasise gentle pacing and tease.
• Fast scripts with rapid motion.
• Detail-focused scripts that match every micro-motion.
• Action-paced scripts focused on rhythm rather than precision.

What is "a good script"

Once you have options, picking the better one matters. A good script:

• Matches what is on screen. Action moments in the script line up with action moments in the video.
• Has variation. Tall and short bars in the heatmap. Periods of action and periods of pause.
• Has zeros. A script that is at 50% the whole time is doing one thing only. A good script lets the toy rest sometimes.
• Matches your video version. Scripts are timed to a specific cut. If you have a different cut, you may need to use Set First Cue to align.

When you load a script in ToyControl, the heatmap at the top of Script Player gives you a quick check. A varied heatmap means a thoughtful script. A flat heatmap means a low-effort or auto-generated one.

What to avoid

• Pirated paid scripts. They are around. Avoid them. The scripters who make a living off Patreon and SLR rely on people paying.
• Auto-generated scripts that have not been reviewed. Some tools claim to make scripts from a video automatically. The quality is hit or miss.
• Sites that demand cryptocurrency or require a download from a sketchy installer. The script file itself is just text. You do not need a special downloader.

Tools for making your own

If you cannot find a script for a scene you love, you can make one. The most-used tool is OpenFunscripter (OFS). Free, open-source, runs on Windows and Linux.

OFS lets you scrub through a video and mark positions over time. A 10-minute scene might take 4-6 hours to script well. It is meditative work for some, tedious for others.

How to import scripts into ToyControl

Once you have a .funscript file:

1. Open ToyControl.
2. Click Script Player in the sidebar.
3. Click Import files.
4. Pick the script.

Or, if you have a whole folder of scripts:

1. Click + Folder in Script Player.
2. Pick the folder.
3. Allow your browser to read it.

The folder mode is best if you have many scripts; they stay on your disk and ToyControl just indexes them.
