How to connect your toy to 3DXChat

3DXChat uses Lovense's QR-code pairing flow through the Lovense Remote app. Here is the setup and where ToyControl fits.

3DXChat is a popular 3D multiplayer adult game with deep Lovense integration. Unlike most other adult games, 3DXChat does not use Lovense Game Mode (LAN). It uses Lovense's QR-code pairing flow, which routes commands through Lovense's cloud relay.

This is the one VR-style game where ToyControl currently does not insert itself into the connection. You connect your Lovense toy through the Lovense Remote app, and 3DXChat drives it from there. This article walks through the setup.

If you also use ToyControl for other content (scripts, patterns, VR scenes), you can keep using it for those; the two paths coexist.

What you need

Step 1: Connect your toy to Lovense Remote

  1. Open the Lovense Remote app on your phone (or PC).
  2. Pair your toy as usual.
  3. Log in to your Lovense account inside the app (required for QR-code pairing).

Step 2: Open the toy connection screen in 3DXChat

  1. Launch 3DXChat and log in.
  2. Open the in-game options menu.
  3. Find the Lovense section.
  4. The game displays a QR code.

Step 3: Scan the QR code

In the Lovense Remote app:

  1. Tap the + icon in the top right.
  2. Select Scan QR Code.
  3. Point your phone camera at the QR code on your 3DXChat screen.

The Lovense Remote app reads the code and asks for permission to let 3DXChat control your toy. Confirm.

Step 4: Verify

3DXChat displays a success message. The Lovense Remote app shows that the toy is now being controlled by 3DXChat. When you enter an in-game interaction, the toy reacts to what is happening on screen.

Where ToyControl fits in

3DXChat's QR-code flow uses Lovense's cloud relay, so the path is:

3DXChat <-> Lovense cloud <-> Lovense Remote app <-> your toy

ToyControl is not in that path. You cannot point 3DXChat at ToyControl's Game Link because 3DXChat does not look for a LAN endpoint; it talks to the cloud.

That is fine. For 3DXChat sessions, use Lovense Remote. For other sources (Script Player, Patterns, VR scenes, Captain Hardcore, Wild Life), use ToyControl. Your toy can be paired with either app at different times.

To swap between them, disconnect the toy from one app and reconnect in the other. A toy can only talk to one app at a time, so the swap is necessary.

What about non-Lovense toys

Since 3DXChat's flow is Lovense-specific (cloud, QR code, Lovense account), a non-Lovense toy will not work. If you have a Tremblr, a Hismith, or a KEON, those toys do not have a Lovense Remote presence and cannot connect to 3DXChat.

The workaround: get a small Lovense vibrator (Lush 3 is the most common) for 3DXChat sessions, and keep using your other toys with ToyControl for everything else.

Tuning the feel

Inside 3DXChat:

Combine them. Set the in-game intensity to taste; use the Lovense Remote slider as a hard ceiling.

Privacy

3DXChat sends commands through Lovense's cloud relay. Lovense sees the connection. Your in-game activity is not specifically logged by Lovense (just the speed commands going through), but the path is not local-only the way Game Link is.
