The Lovense Lush has been through several generations. If you are shopping, especially secondhand or on sale, it helps to know how they compare.
The generations
The Lush is a wearable insertable egg vibrator. Each generation has kept the same idea and improved the parts that matter: a stronger, deeper motor, more reliable Bluetooth, and better behaviour in the app. The Lush 4 is the current model; the Lush 3 is the previous one; older Lush units predate both.
How they differ
Generation to generation, the gains are real but incremental. A newer Lush has a stronger motor, a more stable connection, and longer support. An older Lush still works, and still pairs with ToyControl, but you feel the difference in motor strength and connection reliability.
Which to buy
- Buying new: get the Lush 4. It is the current model and the one with the longest support ahead of it.
- On a budget: a discounted Lush 3 is a sound buy and works well with ToyControl.
- Older Lush: only worth it if it is very cheap secondhand, and accept the weaker motor and connection.
