Lovense toys with ToyControl, a brand guide
Lovense is the most widely used brand of app-connected toys and one of the best supported in ToyControl. Here is what works and what to buy.
Lovense is the most widely used brand of app-connected toys, and one of the best supported in ToyControl. If you are buying your first interactive toy, there is a good chance it will be a Lovense.
What works with ToyControl
ToyControl drives most of the Lovense Bluetooth lineup directly: Lush, Hush, Domi, Edge, Nora, Max, Ferri, Diamo and others. You pair the toy in your browser and run it from any source: scripts, patterns, Broadcast, Music sync, or a remote partner. For the definitive list of supported models, check Toys that work with ToyControl.
The lineup
- Lush: a wearable insertable egg, the classic for partner play and public tease. See How to connect Lovense Lush.
- Domi 2: a short, strong wand, one of the most powerful toys Lovense makes.
- Edge 2: an adjustable prostate massager.
- Nora: a rotating rabbit.
- Max and Solace: strokers, the Lovense option for people who want their whole range in one brand.
- Ferri, Diamo, Gush, Ambi: smaller wearables and rings.
Where Lovense is strong
- Reliable Bluetooth. Lovense has been doing this longer than almost anyone.
- The widest range at the widest price spread, from around $30 to around $300.
- Almost every scene scripter and cam platform supports Lovense, so content is easy to find.
Where it falls short
- Lovense's own app exposes a few modes, like sound-activated patterns, that ToyControl does not replicate. ToyControl's strength is funscript playback, VR, and multi-source control, not cloning the Lovense app.
- A handful of newer, cloud-tied features still need the Lovense app for first setup.
Bottom line
If you want one brand that covers most needs and is well supported in ToyControl, Lovense is the safe pick. Start with a Lush for wearable and partner play, or a Domi 2 for raw power. See The best interactive vibrators.
