Lovense Max
Pair your Lovense Max 2 or Max 3 stroker with ToyControl. Vibration and suction motors, works with scripts and patterns.
The Lovense Max 2 and Max 3 are strokers with two functions: vibration and suction. Both pair directly with ToyControl in Chrome or Edge.
Before you start
- The Max should be fully charged. A solid red light means it is still charging; the light turns off when the Max is full.
- Close the Lovense Remote app on your phone.
- If the Max was paired elsewhere recently, turn it off and back on.
Pair the Max
- Open ToyControl at toycontrol.app.
- Press and hold the Max's power button until it starts blinking (pairing mode).
- In ToyControl, click the + in the Devices section.
- Pick Lovense Max from the catalog.
- In the Bluetooth window, select your Max.
- Click Pair.
- The Max appears in the sidebar with a green dot.
Test the Max
Click Test toy at the bottom of the screen. Vibration should ramp up and down. Suction may or may not activate during Test toy depending on your firmware; if it does not, try a pattern session to confirm both motors work.
Vibration and suction
ToyControl drives the Max through the standard Lovense protocol. For scripts and patterns:
- Vibration responds to the source signal's intensity. High = strong vibration.
- Suction can be driven by the suction-bias control in ToyControl's bottom bar (if your firmware supports it through the protocol) or by per-pattern configuration.
The exact suction behavior depends on Max firmware version. Max 3 has more refined control than Max 2.
Max vs Tremblr (for stroker scripts)
If you use the Max for SLR Interactive or community stroker scripts:
- The Max responds to scripts as a stroker.
- It is less robust than a Tremblr FM-T for long sessions (smaller motor, less stroke length).
- It is cheaper and more portable.
For occasional sessions, the Max is fine. For long sessions, consider a Tremblr; see How to connect Tremblr FM-T.
Troubleshooting
- Max not in the Bluetooth window. Close the Lovense Remote app. Hold the power button until the light blinks (pairing mode).
- Pairs but no response. Check the per-device intensity in the sidebar and speed range max in the bottom bar.
- Suction not responding. Some patterns and scripts only drive the vibration motor by default. Check the suction-bias control in the bottom bar.
