Eroscripts.com, a deep review
Eroscripts is the community that keeps interactive content alive. Here is how it works, how to find good scripts, and the etiquette around paying.
Most scripts for most videos started life as a post on Eroscripts. If you use interactive content at all, this is the community to know.
What Eroscripts is
Eroscripts is a community forum where scripters share funscripts. You bring your own copy of a video, find the script someone has made for it, and play the two together in ToyControl. It is free to join.
Free and paid
A large share of what is posted is free. Some scripters put their best work behind a paid page, often Patreon, and the Eroscripts thread points you to where to buy. Both models sit side by side, and the free catalogue alone is substantial.
How to find a script
Search for the video or scene title. Threads are organised per scene, with the script file or a link to it in the post. The closer the match between the script's intended video cut and your copy, the better the alignment will be.
How to vet a script
- Read the comments and any ratings. The community is vocal about quality.
- Look at the scripter's other work and standing.
- Confirm the script was made for the same cut of the video you have.
Etiquette
Eroscripts runs on goodwill. Scripting is skilled, time-consuming work that is often unpaid or barely paid. Support scripters when you can, buy their paid scripts rather than hunting for leaks, do not redistribute paid work, and credit people. The catalogue exists because the community treats its makers well.
How it works with ToyControl
Download the funscript, load it in the Script Player, and line it up with your video. Set First Cue corrects small offsets. See Playing scripts with a video on your computer.
Bottom line
For 2D interactive content, Eroscripts is the deepest well there is, and it costs nothing to start. See also The best places to download funscripts free.
