How to join the Broadcast

The Broadcast is a shared 10-minute cycle that everyone tuned in feels at the same time. Here is how to join one, with chat and safety notes.

The Broadcast is a shared session. Instead of you driving the toy, you tune in to a cycle that everyone else tuned in feels at the same moment. This article covers joining one. For the full detail on how cycles work, see Broadcast.

Join in three steps

  1. Pair your toy.
  2. Open Broadcast from the source picker on the device's card.
  3. Press Join broadcast.

The first time, a short panel explains the rules. Press "I'm in" and you are tuned in.

What happens next

A new 10-minute cycle starts every ten minutes. You feel eight minutes of build and a two-minute climax, and the climax lands on the clock: :00, :10, :20, :30, :40, and :50 past the hour. Join part-way through and you pick up wherever the current cycle is.

The big countdown tells you how long until the climax. The heatmap shows the shape of the whole cycle.

If it feels too strong

Use the sensitivity slider on the Broadcast screen to dial this toy down. You are always in control of your own intensity: the cycle sets the shape, not the strength. To stop instantly, press the Stop button or Leave broadcast.

Chat and your display name

The Broadcast has a public chat. To post, set a display name in your profile. Without one you can still read along, and you appear to others only as part of an anonymous count.

If someone is abusive in chat, press Report on their message, pick a reason, and send. A moderator reviews it.

Privacy

Nothing about how your toy moves leaves your device. The cycle is worked out locally. Chat messages are public, like any chat room. See Broadcast for the full privacy detail.
