Does ToyControl work on Apple Vision Pro
Not directly. Apple Vision Pro uses Safari, which cannot pair Bluetooth toys. Here is what your options are.
The short answer: not directly. Apple Vision Pro runs Apple's Safari browser engine, which does not support pairing Bluetooth toys from a website. There is no way to install Chrome or Bluefy on Apple Vision Pro the way you can on a Mac or iPhone.
This article explains your options if you have a Vision Pro and want to use a toy.
What does not work
- Pairing a toy in the Vision Pro browser. Safari on Vision Pro lacks the Bluetooth feature.
- Installing a different browser. Vision Pro's app store only has Safari-based browsers. None of them add Bluetooth.
- Using Bluefy on Vision Pro. Bluefy exists on iPhone and iPad but is not currently on Vision Pro.
What might work
A few setups can put a Vision Pro video on your eyes while a separate computer drives the toy.
Option 1: Mac Virtual Display
If you have a Mac, you can mirror its screen to Vision Pro (Mac Virtual Display). The Mac plays the video and runs ToyControl in Chrome; the Vision Pro just shows the Mac's screen. The toy is paired with the Mac.
This is not VR (you see a regular screen in front of you), but the video plays large.
Option 2: Run a separate computer (DeoVR Hyper recommended)
In 2026, DeoVR Hyper launched on the Apple Vision Pro App Store. It is free and runs natively on visionOS 2.0 or later. This is now the best native VR video player for Vision Pro: it plays VR 180 and 360 scenes with proper hand tracking and a UI built for spatial computing.
The setup:
- Install DeoVR Hyper on Vision Pro from the App Store.
- On a separate laptop or desktop (Mac or PC), open ToyControl in Chrome or Edge and pair your toy.
- Start your VR scene in DeoVR Hyper on Vision Pro. Load the matching funscript in ToyControl's Script Player on the laptop.
- Press play on Vision Pro, then play in ToyControl on the laptop. They will start at slightly different times. Use Set First Cue (press C at the first on-screen action) to align.
As of 2026-05-16, the Vision Pro version of DeoVR Hyper does not advertise built-in haptic toy support. The Quest version of the DeoVR app talks to The Handy directly, but the Vision Pro Hyper App Store listing does not mention Handy, Lovense, or Buttplug integration. So you still need a second computer to drive the toy. If DeoVR adds funscript playback to Hyper on visionOS in a future update, this gap may close.
The "computer next door" approach works fine for users who already own a Vision Pro and a laptop.
Option 3: Use a Meta Quest instead
If your primary goal is VR scenes with a toy, a Quest 3 or Quest 3S is the simpler path. It costs much less than a Vision Pro, has more interactive content, and works with ToyControl natively. See How to play scripts on Meta Quest.
Will Vision Pro ever work?
If Apple adds Bluetooth-from-the-browser support to Safari on visionOS, ToyControl will work on day one. Separately, if DeoVR Hyper on visionOS adds funscript playback (it already exists in the Quest version), you will be able to drive a WiFi-based toy like The Handy from Vision Pro directly. Either of those would unlock Vision Pro fully. Until then, the "second computer" approach in Option 2 is the cleanest path.
