Building your own pattern

Three knobs in the Patterns tab let you tune any rhythm. Here is what intensity range, rhythm, and smoothness each do, with example settings.

If none of the five presets quite fits, you can tune your own pattern. Three knobs control everything: how much the intensity varies, how often it changes, and how it changes. This article explains each one with example settings.

The three knobs

Intensity range

Two sliders set the minimum and maximum the toy will run at. The pattern picks random values between those two limits.

A useful default: 20 to 80. Avoids extremes, plenty of variation.

Rhythm

How often the pattern picks a new target intensity.

There is a small amount of jitter in every setting, so the pattern never feels mechanical.

Smoothness

When the rhythm picks a new target, does the toy jump straight to it (jarring) or ramp gradually (teasing)?

For most users, somewhere between 30% and 60% feels best.

Large rhythm changes

A toggle called Large rhythm changes changes the way the pattern picks new targets. Instead of picking randomly anywhere in the range, it alternates between the top 20% and the bottom 20%. The result is dramatic high-low swings.

Turn this on for an "edging" feel even when your range is wide. Turn it off for smoother, more random patterns.

Example settings

A few combinations that work:

Steady speed (the simplest pattern)

If you want a constant single speed, use the Steady speed card instead. Set the slider to your speed (e.g. 60), click Send, and the toy runs at exactly that speed until you stop it.

This is not a pattern, it is a hold. Useful as a warm-up or as the start of a session.

Saving your settings

If you find settings you like, you can save them as a profile. Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar, click Profile, name the profile, and save. Next time you want that exact setup, load the profile.

Try it

In the Patterns tab:

  1. Move the Intensity range sliders to 20 and 80.
  2. Pick a Rhythm (Medium is a safe start).
  3. Pick a Smoothness (50% is balanced).
  4. Click Play.

Adjust as you go. The pattern responds to slider changes in real time.
